Students who attend Camp Cowboy…
- Develop a sense of community with fellow Cowboys entering their first semester at OSU.
- Build relationships with student camp staff who help them find connection points, provide peer-to-peer guidance on how to excel and keep them informed of leadership opportunities around campus.
- Learn about co-curricular resources that are critical partners in students’ campus support networks.
- Understand common challenges of first-year students and develop strategies for addressing those challenges.
- Are more likely to be involved and stay engaged in campus and community activities throughout their time at OSU.
- Earn higher GPAs and complete their OSU degrees in a more timely fashion.
