How to get started
- What is Greek Discovery Day (GDD)?
Greek Discovery Day is an event where we invite high school Juniors, Seniors, and current OSU students to campus to learn firsthand about our fraternity/sorority community at Oklahoma State University. You will engage with current fraternity/sorority members, learn about their specific organization's values, and get updates about the various recruitment processes associated with joining one of our chapters. For guests of the attendees, we will have a specific session for you to attend in the morning.
- How much does it cost?
There is an early bird registration fee of $65 if registered by March 1st at 5:00 p.m. After this, registration will go up to $75. On-site registration is $85.

- Who can attend GDD?
High school juniors, seniors, and current OSU students who are interested in learning more about the fraternity and sorority community at Oklahoma State University are invited to attend. Each participant may bring one guest. Guests will follow a separate track, where they can hear from a panel of alumni, advisors, and current Fraternity & Sorority Affairs staff to learn more about the membership experience and how their student can join a fraternity or sorority.
- Tell me more about the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) & National Pan-Hellenic Council
(NPHC)
Our MGC and NPHC chapters will be available to chat with at the designated Men's/Women's Browse sessions on the morning of Greek Discovery Day.
Additionally, we are hosting a new event with our MGC and NPHC organizations for students that are interested in our historically Black and culturally based Greek organizations. Come learn about the Greek community from current members and enjoy amazing performances from our organizations! Don't miss this chance to explore the diverse and empowering Greek Life experience offered here at OSU!

- Schedule for student attendees
- 8:00 - 8:45 AM: Check In (Student Union Atrium)
- 9:00 - 9:15 AM: Small Group Introductions & Ice Breakers
- 9:15 - 11:50 AM: Opening Session, Browse Session, Small Group Session
- 11:50 - 1:00 PM: Lunch (On Your Own)
- 1:00 - 5:30 PM: IFC House Tours and Chapter Presentations & Panhellenic Mock Recruitment
- Schedule For Guests of Attendees Only
- 8:00 - 8:45 AM: Check In (Student Union Atrium) guests are encouraged to leave their student with their group and visit the University Store, Caribou Coffee, and other OSU vendors before heading to the Seretean Center for the Parent Session!
- 9:30 - 10:30 AM: Parent's Session
- 11:50 - 1:00 PM: Lunch (On Your Own)
- Where can I park?
The Student Union Parking Garage and the
Fourth Avenue Parking Garage will be open for paid parking.
Additionally, any surfaced, non-reserved parking space is FREE of charge.
- Recruitment Processes
Each of our councils are working diligently to prepare for our various recruitment processes that ensures the health and safety of incoming and current OSU students. Here is an overview of each of the current plans. They are subject to change.
- Interfraternity Council (Men)- Recruitment registration opens immediately after Greek Discovery Day. All Students interested in joining an IFC fraternity should sign up to make sure that chapters have your correct information to contact you. - Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) & National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)- Fraternities and sororities plan to host their various membership intake processes
during the fall and spring semesters.

- Panhellenic Recruitment (Women)- Primary recruitment registration opens in May following Greek Discovery Day. Sorority recruitment is scheduled the week prior to classes beginning. Please refer to the Panhellenic Recruitment page for more complete info about the recruitment process.
