- What is GivePulse?
GivePulse is a network of community organizations and volunteers, where nonprofits, community organizations, and campus groups can manage and coordinate events and service projects, and track engagement and outcomes. OSU uses GivePulse to track community engagement, support student involvement, and manage community partnerships.
- Why is GivePulse important?
It provides you with opportunities to provide a helping hand in Stillwater and surrounding areas, as well as, obtain valuable impacts to go towards gaining a C.O.R.D for graduation.
- What's the difference between "service hours" and "impacts"?
Service hours and impacts go hand-in-hand, but there are a few differences.
- Impacts: Everytime you volunteer, serve or donate (items or monetarily) to a social impact initiative, you are making an Impact. Adding impacts, or "sharing information about what you did in the community that made an impact of some kind," empowers you to record your engagement with the community. Impacts help provide data for reporting purposes, to get feedback on the quality of the experience, and to better understand the impact of the work and how we are moving the needle. - Hours: These are your total hours you served, including verified and unverified across different impact types including volunteering, trainings, meetings, etc.
- How can I log in my impacts?
