What is C.O.R.D?

C.O.R.D stands for Creating Opportunities for Responsible Development. The C.O.R.D is our opportunity to honor you for your commitment to service! The Orange C.O.R.D worn at graduation signifies an OSU student's determination to make a difference.

Undergraduates, if you have 400 cumulative impacts and hours at your graduation semester, you can apply for the exclusive Orange C.O.R.D – to wear with your convocation gown.

Transfers and Graduates, if you have 100 cumulative impacts and hours per year you are at OSU, you can apply for the exclusive Orange C.O.R.D - to wear with your convocation gown.

Participate in the C.O.R.D Program

• SVC Orange C.O.R.D

  Receive a certificate issued from the OSU Student Volunteer Center, exclusive awards, and an official Honor Badge by having 50, 100, 200, and 300 cumulative impacts and hours verified in Cowboy Central. No need to wait until your graduation semester, you can be awarded at the end of each semester. The fall application will open Tuesday, September 1st at 8:00am and close Saturday, October 31st at 11:55pm.

• Pre-Professional C.O.R.D
  All students are eligible to apply for the Pre-Professional CORD. The requirements and application deadlines vary depending on your concentration and graduation date. For more information, visit their website or contact the office at preprofessional@okstate.edu.

How to qualify for the C.O.R.D. Program

• Ensure all impacts and hours align with the Student Volunteer Center's Policy
• Have all impacts and hours submitted and verified in Cowboy Central
  
• Complete the C.O.R.D. Program application on the Student Volunteer Center's Cowboy Central page

The fall application will open Tuesday, September 1st at 8:00am and close Saturday, October 31st at 11:55pm.
