Event Details

Chalk Wars is BACK for 2024! The event will be happening on October 28th, 2024 from 11 AM - 3 PM in front of Edmond Low Library. You can find general information as well as rules & regulations below.

• General Information
  • Prizes awarded to the winners for each category.
  • The categories are: INDIVIDUAL  or  GROUP
  • You will need to submit a rough sketch of the design for approval when you submit a registration form.

• Rules and Regulations
  1. All artwork must be original ideas and created entirely by the participants.
  2. All artwork must be suitable for all audiences to view i.e. no rated R chalk work, this will be on the OSU sidewalks for everyone to view. 
  3. All artwork must be started and finished within the given time limit (11 AM - 3 PM).
  4. All spray chalk is prohibited
  5. All artwork must remain inside the given area, do not draw on or near others art.
  6. Watching others is encouraged, bring your friends, but you cannot purposely distract other competitors.
  7. All artwork must be finished with participants' signatures (for accountability purposes).
  8. Artwork must be pre-approved (submit a rough sketch/picture via registration form).
  9. All groups must be registered before the deadline.
