Scott Alexander
Director of Student Support

Scott Alexander serves as a Director, working alongside our dedicated Student Support staff to advance a culture of holistic student care across OSU’s campus. Scott received his B.A. in Family Psychology from Oklahoma Baptist University and his M.S. in College Student Development from Oklahoma State University. Scott’s background in higher education includes work in student success programs, Title IX education and prevention, campus food security initiatives, and undergraduate instruction in Leadership Studies. Scott is currently working on his Ph.D. in Baylor University’s Higher Education Studies & Leadership program.

Jessica Ley

Senior Coordinator of Student Case Management

Support Focus Specialization: Students with neurodivergence

Jessica Ley is a Coordinator of Student Case Management. She has worked in a variety of roles with people dealing with new transitions and coping with life challenges. Jessica’s past professional experiences include serving as an academic advisor and an Assistant Director of Retention in the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology here at OSU. She has also worked as a K-12 school social worker at 3 schools in Oklahoma and Texas, was an intake worker at Wings of Hope, and has volunteered with several organizations that address basic needs access. Jessica has a bachelor’s degree in social work from The University of Texas at Austin, and a master’s in social work from another university in Oklahoma.

Jessica Frazier

Coordinator of Student Case Management

Support Focus Specialization: Native students

Jessica Frazier is a Coordinator of Student Case Management. Jessica earned her bachelor's in social work from Northeastern State University and her master's in social work from Washington University in St. Louis, where her coursework focused on the American Indian/Alaska Native concentration with focus on trauma-informed care. She has previously served as a case manager for a tribally operated behavioral health center in eastern Oklahoma, a Denver nonprofit dedicated to supporting Indigenous families, and a trauma response center in St. Louis.

Britteny McClure
Coordinator of Student Case Management

Support Focus Specialization: Graduate and parenting students

Britteny McClure is a Case Manager. Britteny earned her M.S. from Eastern Illinois University in College Student Development and her B.A. from Elmhurst College in Communications with a double minor in Art and Intercultural Studies. Since undergrad, Britteny has spent her time working in various Residence Life roles where she developed a passion for aiding students in their holistic growth. Britteny has worked in Illinois, Colorado, Washington State, and now Oklahoma.

Becca Krouse

Support Focus Specialization: LGBTQ+ students

Becca Krouse is a Coordinator of Student Case Management. She earned her MS in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Oklahoma State University where she focused her research on Hidden Student Populations and how institutions can better serve their specific needs within higher education. Her Creative Component centered on the lived experience of college students in recovery, and how to better support that population throughout their academic careers. She is currently working towards her PhD at Oklahoma State University in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies where she plans to continue her research on the lived experiences of underserved student populations. Becca has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Central Oklahoma. Becca is passionate about student advocacy and furthering support and resources for hidden student populations.

Support Focus Specialization: Students with disabilities

Kara M. Irwin is a dedicated education professional currently serving as the Coordinator of Student Case Management at Oklahoma State University. She holds a Master of Science degree in Education, with a focus on Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. With over 15 years of experience in teaching and advocating for students, Kara is committed to fostering a culture of care that embraces each student's unique strengths and challenges. Kara believes in a holistic approach to education, addressing not only academic needs but also the emotional and social development of every student. Her work focuses on creating supportive environments where students feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential. By emphasizing collaboration among educators, families, and support staff, she ensures that every student receives comprehensive care tailored to their individual circumstances. Her extensive background in special education has equipped her with the skills necessary to champion inclusivity and cultivate an environment of understanding and respect.

Matt Williams

Coordinator of Student Support Programs

Matt Williams serves as a Coordinator of Student Support Programs, focusing on first-generation college students, former foster youth, and students who live off-campus. Matt received his B.A. in Sociology from Oklahoma State University and his M. Ed. in Higher Education Student Affairs from Loyola University Chicago. Matt’s background in higher education includes work in Orientation & Enrollment, Student Accessibility, Career Development, and Retention. As a first-gen student himself, Matt knows how important it is that students have a team of supporters like this in their corner!

Kiera Brunson

Coordinator of Non-Traditional and Transfer Student Support

Kiera Brunson serves as the Coordinator for Non-traditional and Transfer Student Support, bringing 11 years of experience as a public-school art educator. Her personal experiences as both a transfer and non-traditional student, she brings valuable insights and expertise to her role. She holds a bachelor's degree in general studies, with an emphasis in Social Welfare, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Humanities from Northeastern State University. In 2015, she earned her master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, followed by a Building Level Leadership Certification from Oklahoma State University in 2024. Kiera is a member of the Oklahoma state-wide transfer student success committee, contributing to enhancing the transfer process across higher education institutions in Oklahoma.
