Official local preliminary to Miss Oklahoma
Ready to take the first step toward Miss Oklahoma? The Miss OSU competition provides young women an opportunity to grow through talent, interviews, public speaking, and community service.
The winner will qualify for the Miss Oklahoma Competition and become eligible for scholarships.

Miss OSU 2025 Scholarship Competition: Saturday, January 25, 2025
- Eligibility
To compete in the Miss OSU scholarship competition, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 17 years old and no older than 25 years old as of December 31 of the year competing at the national level.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Must be a bona fide resident of Oklahoma or a full-time student physically attending an accredited college or university located within Oklahoma or is employed and working full-time.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at Oklahoma State University for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

There are 3 scholarships to be awarded to Miss OSU and the two runners-up.
Miss Oklahoma State University $1,000.00
1st Runner-Up $750.00
2nd Runner-Up $500.00

Miss OSU Application and Competition Information.
1. Submit the online Miss OSU 2025 Entry Form including uploading a headshot photo.
2. Submit the following printed hard copies to Broghan Altermatt 238B Student Union (Office of Multicultural Affairs) by December 2, 2024. Application materials should be submitted in a large envelope, with your name written on the outside, and placed in the following order:
- Miss Oklahoma Delegate & Parent Contact Information Form
- Interview Fact Sheet
- Community Service Initiative
- 8x10 Headshot Photo
- Copy of Proof of Age: Certified Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, State ID, Passport
3. The Miss America organization requires candidates to set up a profile HERE ($39.99 account registration fee is required).
Miss America Organization State & Local Candidate Agreements will be emailed to students who have submitted a completed entry packet.
All participants are required by Miss America Organization to create an account and raise money for the American Heart Association - see the Miss OSU Information document for information.
- Information for ContestantsThe following documents can assist in completing the entry packet.
- Phase of Competition
- Personal Interview with Judges: Private interviews with judges will take place the morning/afternoon of January 25, 2025.
- Talent Competition: Participants will present a performing arts talent or HER Story presentation that will not exceed 1 minute and 30 seconds. Talent must be chosen from the approved talent list.
- Health & Fitness: Participants must wear an outfit from the Rebel – Miss America Red Collection for this portion of the competition.
- Onstage Interview: Participants will be asked a question on stage regarding the contestant’s Community Service Initiative.
- Evening Gown: Participants will wear an evening gown for this portion of the competition.
