for Campus Hazing and

Organizational Conduct

Oklahoma State University shares information about organizations that have been found responsible for violating university policies in accordance with the law and to equip students, parents, and stakeholders to make informed decisions about student organizations. Incident information is updated as cases are resolved. This report includes three sections found below: (1) Incidents Involving Hazing, (2) Incidents Not Involving Hazing, and (3) Incidents Involving Grades.

*Incidents have been resolved from the Fall 2020 semester to Present.


Incidents Involving Hazing

The information below includes incidents that involve a violation of the university hazing policy and may include violations of other university policies. Please visit the institutional website on Hazing to learn more about our prevention, reporting, and investigation proccesses.

    Description of ViolationsAs part of a Big Little event, new members were provided alcohol from their Bigs with the expectation per tradition to consume the provided alcohol. This event resulted in the hospital transport of a new member. Additionally, new members were assigned to complete various tasks including performing physical exercises and house cleaning, and were subjected to bed flipping, sleep deprivation, and having their personal items damaged or hidden as part of the new member process.
