Join us in a campus-wide decorating contest benefiting the United Way of Payne County. Grab some friends, decorate a pumpkin and encourage others to do the same. All proceeds will benefit the United Way of Payne County.

• General Information
  • Campus-wide contest split into three divisions:
    • OSU Students
    • OSU Student Organizations/Residence Halls
    • OSU Departments/Colleges
  • No entry fee.
  • Important Dates:
    • Pumpkin drop-off will be October 21-28, 2024 in 061 Student Union & 242 Student Union.
    • Pumpkins will be displayed from October 21-November 1, 2024 in the Campus Life Lounge on the 2nd floor of the Student Union.
    • Donation submission deadline is November 1, 2024 at 10:00 pm. 
    • Winners will be announced by November 4, 2024 by email and will be highlighted on this webpage and in room 211 of the Student Union.
  • The pumpkin raising the most money in each category at the close of voting is the winner. 
  • Pumpkins not picked up after voting ends will be donated to Payne County United Way partner agencies. 
• How to Enter
  • Register between October 11-25, 2024 through the link at the top of the page.
  • Drop off your pumpkin in 061 Student Union or 242 Student Union between October 21-28.
• Qualifications
  • You must supply your own pumpkin. 
  • Pumpkins may be real or artificial, but cannot be carved. 
  • Props may be used as long as they are firmly attached to the pumpkin. 
  • Entries may not weigh more than 25 lbs.

Support your friends and colleagues by voting for your favorite pumpkins on display in the Campus Life Lounge located on the 2nd floor of the Student Union.

• Voting Information
  • Voting may be done with cash or Venmo by no later than November 1, 2024.
  • In-person voting will be October 21 - November 1 in the Campus Life Lounge.
  • Pumpkins will be on Student Union Plaza for voting during Walkaround and prior to Homecoming game.
  • Voting ends at kick-off of the OSU vs Arizona State football game on November 2.
• Prize Details
  • Winners will be announced by November 4, 2024 by email. Winners will be highlighted on this webpage and on the TV in the Campus Life space located in room 211 of the Student Union.
