Military Tuition Assistance
If you are Active Duty, National Guard or in the Reserves and plan on using Tuition Assistance to help pay for your classes at Oklahoma State University, review the information below and complete the following steps to apply.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1
Confirm with your education office that you are eligible for Tuition Assistance.
- Issues with payments are handled by OSU tuition assistance staff within the Bursar's office. Payments should be applied to your accounts by the 3rd week of the semester for standard terms (e.g. fall and spring). If OSU finds any issues with your tuition assistance, you will be contacted via email.
- Final grades are provided by the Registrar's office and will be posted within 12 business days of the end of the course. If you have issues with your grades for tuition assistance, please contact Amber Todd at 405.744.3075 or amber.todd@okstate.edu.
- Step 2
Apply for Tuition Assistance. It's important to note, this process differs for each branch, make sure you connect with your Education Office on your base.
- If you plan on using Top-Up to assist with paying for your fees, please contact Veteran Benefit Services at 405.744.6343 or veteransbenefits@okstate.edu.
- Step 3
If you need assistance with documentation from OSU (e.g. Degree Plans, etc.) please contact our tuition assistance primary contacts.

Once your Tuition Assistance is approved, please email OSU tuition assistance staff with your name, student ID and contact information. Please see restrictions below.
- Army and Air Force do not need to provide the approval
- Navy, Marines and Coast Guard must provide the signed Tuition assistance approval.
Please be aware that Tuition Assistance does not cover the full cost of attendance at OSU and you are financially responsible for any costs above what Tuition Assistance covers.
