Family Education and Involvement Opportunities
We strive to provide diverse opportunities throughout the year for students' family members to learn more about Oklahoma State University, the Stillwater area and students' experiences. We are also committed to coordinating activities and events where family members can engage with and support their students as well as other OSU students.

Family Weekends
Coordinated once each semester, Family Weekend provides a concentrated array of varied activities for family members to engage in while spending quality time with their students on the OSU campus and throughout the Stillwater community. While families are welcome to visit their students throughout the year, Family Weekend is a special time of celebrating all of the families who make up the Cowboy family.
Find details for this semester's activities on the Family Weekend website.
Into the Streets
Into the Streets is a single day of meaningful service that takes place once each semester and provides students the opportunity to serve in a fun, exciting group environment while they give back to OSU and the surrounding community. Family members of students are also able to serve or host project sites during the Into the Streets events. Learn more on the Into the Street website.
Another way to be involved is by assisting the Student Volunteer Center staff and the Into the Streets student committee with event check-in and snack distribution throughout the day. Reach out to the committee at intothestreets@okstate.edu to volunteer.
Hugs From Home
Hugs From Home is a grassroots group of family members of OSU students who conduct a student stress relief outreach event on campus. During the Hugs From Home campus outreach, family volunteers distribute snacks, giveaways, smiles and hugs to students who need and want them, and OSU's student support resources join in the efforts by hosting tables to visit with students about their needs and to distribute support resource information. We encourage family members interested in participating to follow the Hugs From Home Facebook page.
