• What is Cowboy Welcome?

  Cowboy Welcome is the official OSU welcome to our newest incoming students and a ‘welcome back’ for our continuing OSU students. It's a time full of fun activities and events that span from just before the semester starts through the first week of classes. Events and activities are designed to connect students to campus and to their peers.

• When is Cowboy Welcome?

  Fall Cowboy Welcome starts on Wednesday, Aug. 12 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 22. The first day of classes is Monday, Aug. 17. Winter Cowboy Welcome begins on Sunday, Jan. 10 and runs through Saturday, Jan. 23. Spring semester classes begin on Monday, Jan. 11.

• What does Cowboy Welcome cost?

  Nothing! Cowboy Welcome is absolutely free for all students!

• Do I need to sign up for Cowboy Welcome?

  No pre-registration or sign up is required. All you need to do is show up ready to have fun and meet new people!

• What are signature events?

  Signature events are our largest events throughout the week that every new Cowboy is invited to attend. Each event showcases some of the best and brightest OSU has to offer, regardless of your major or classification.

• Where is Cowboy Welcome?

  Cowboy Welcome takes place across the OSU-Stillwater campus. Our staff will be located in the Student Union throughout the week to help new students check-in and pick up a free Cowboy Welcome t-shirt, and to answer questions from all students participating.

• Is Cowboy Welcome for me?

  Yes! Cowboy Welcome has events for all students.

• Will Cowboy Welcome fit my schedule?

  Yes! All Cowboy Welcome events are designed so that you can attend whichever events fit your individual schedule, interests and needs.

• How do you host a Cowboy Welcome event?

  Official OSU departments, offices and organizations are eligible to host events as part of the Cowboy Welcome schedule. For more information and deadlines, please email cowboywelcome@okstate.edu.
