CowboyThon
CowboyThon is the largest on-campus philanthropic organization at Oklahoma State University. We host a year-round fundraising initiative that supports the Children’s Health Foundation of Oklahoma.
Over the next three years, we have partnered with OSU Medicine’s Neonatology Program and plan to donate $100,000 of our proceeds so they can upgrade their program. To end the year, CowboyThon hosts an eight hour Dance Marathon celebrating the kids and families impacted by our fundraising.
Our mission
The mission of CowboyThon is to engage the Cowboy Family in generating awareness and financial support for the OSU Medicine Neonatology Program in Tulsa and the Children's Health Foundation of Oklahoma, an affiliate of our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Most importantly, this organization allows students to meet and interact with Miracle Children and their families from the Oklahoma Children's Hospital. Although the dance marathon is a one-day event, there are numerous opportunities throughout the year to fundraise for pediatric research, education, and clinical care.
